Beginning through advanced artists will gain the skills to bring their inner visions to life. We will be exploring numerous different mediums and synthesizing diverse approaches into masterful works of art. From spontaneous primal expressions to traditional master's painting techniques, a whole spectrum of approaches will be seamlessly integrated.

Students will begin with fluid, primordial expressions, utilizing Mana Prima technique on primed panel. Next, we will apply a unifying glaze of color in acrylic. We will spend some time refining the drawing of our chosen subject matter, and then transfer the drawing onto the panel. Once the drawing has been transferred, we will build volume in light by applying casein pigment, followed by a unifying glaze in oils, creating optical greys and luminous, opalescent neutrals. Finally, we will refine the highlights and forms in white, finishing with local glazes in oils.
