Learn everything you need to know to grow your own Shiitake Mushrooms in this series based workshop that is sure to inspire you through the seasons. You will lean the role of fungus on our planet, the health benefits of eating them, and how to cultivate them using small logs. We will prepare logs that you can take home with you for your first harvest!
Stump Clustering​

Intensive Medicinal Plant Series

In this 4-part workshop series, you'll learn everything from the identification and harvesting of wild medicinal plants to growing a medicinal garden that serves your family's needs. Diagnosis and how to apply this knowledge through the creation and application of tinctures, salves, poultices and cough remedies. Learn about the medicinal properties of the plants that surround us!

Hugelkultur

Come learn about hugelkultur, the practice of creating raised garden beds to grow a garden with minimal irrigation or fertilizer! Embedding rotten logs creates a garden bed that retains water and over time as the wood decomposes provides nutrients to the soil.
