Come explore the forests and streams at Griffis Hill Gardens! You'll learn about off-trail navigation, wildlife and plant identification and wilderness skills during this afternoon adventure workshop!
Fly a Kite!
3rd Saturday each month, 3:00 PM
$20 includes all materials.

Learn how to build your own Diamond, Delta, Sled and even Tetrahedral kites. Create your own unique colorful kite and learn how to fly your amazing creation!
Cross-Country Orienteering Day
Dates TBD.. $50 per individual

During this competitive treasure hunt style event, you'll navigate throughout the park in a small team to identify and visit specific points of interest identified on a map. Using a map and compass, you will be challenged to find and retrieve unique items from each point on the map, and the first team to return with a token from each point wins!

Moss Magic

Learn about the forest floor through hands-on experiences, helping to expand our beds of moss carpeting. Perfect for fairy forts and nimble fingers! During this workshop we will learn all about the power of mud and the growth it supports!
